where can i find a list or unreal servers that i am able to link to...
is there such a directory or something.....
i am new to irc *blushes* i have had my server open now for like 2 months.... and the only people to come are my friends *blushes*
and a few admins from my domain name provider....
my server is listed some where on this domain name providers site...
i cant find it though... but other normal irc users have....
maybe 30 or so what i know about.
i have a few problems..... ok 1 problem in particular...
i have no clients/chatters........
any ideas on how to attract clients/chatters would be appriciated...
do you think it would be a good idea if all the people that are downloading this ircd have a network to link to making this said network huge...
obviously not all but most who are planning to start a little network...
would find this a good starting point then later they could disconect this link once they have enough chatters using there channels and maybe add there own other server......

and we can discuss it further.......
maybe you could port something into the next unreal that auto sorts out a link connection to say a master link server which only makes them a local admin or something this way when you 1st get unreal going you have a link with many channels formed already......... and of course users which will wonder in and out of your local channels looking for new and interesting people to chat....
im running the latest unreal 3.2.2, solar stats windrop and cygnus services
i was using lakeserv 6 but it dont work to well with the new unreal so i ditched it in favour of cygnus services
im also working on bopm this is a bit tough to get going though but i will get there..... eventually oops off topic greetz
