cant figure out why

hi and just wanted to say great job on the ircd.
on to my problem

I have unreal3.2.2 set up on my linux machine. i can connect fine but when somone from the outside tries to connect from the ip address they get, 192.168.0.252 (Connection timed out). I have disabled the firewall and tried everything else. plz help if theres a way round this

Why don't you go google for and read something about NAT, routers, and nonroutable IPs.

my main computer is xp with 2 NET cards with a CAT5 crossover running to my linux machine. i have googled for server weeks and came up with nothing at all

192.168.x.x is a local IP, people from the outside can not connect to it.
