problems with the new version of unreal 3.2.3

when i tried to change my nickname with numbers the ircd send a message to me like this:

0mer0 :Erroneous Nickname: Illegal characters

(where "0" is a zero)

in the unrealircd.conf i dont have set any character for nicknames (like latin1, latin2,etc...).

Why i dont have to put me nicknames with numbers?

Nicknames may not start with a number. This is a restriction of the IRC Protocol, RFC 1459 says that a Nick is <nick> ::= <letter> { <letter> | <number> | <special> }.

This has nothing to do with the new nicksys, it has always been like that
