Anope & mysql

am using unreal3.2.3 , anope1.7.10 , my OS is freeBSD , .... while compiling Anope whenever i am trying to enable
mysql getting this error
usr/libexec/elf/ld: cannot find -lmysqlclient
gmake[1]: *** [services] Error 1
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/home/ircd/anope-1.7.10/src'
gmake: *** [build] Error 2
any idea whats wrong in here ?

You haven't installed the mysql libs where Anope expects to find them (somewhere in /usr/src i think, not sure).
