Channel Banning random hidden host numbers

Post by aca20031 »

Our network has over 10 servers running unreal IRCd and only one of our linux servers seems to have this problem, but when you ban a host that includes the random numebrs that follow a hidden host (IE if the hidden host prefix is Maow-, it would be the 7F2F21B in Maow-7F2F21B.atlsfl.adelphia.net) the ban is excepted, it doesnt reconise it, so if i had banned *!*@Maow-7F2F21B.atlsfl.adelphia.net the user would still be able to join the channel if he was on that server, how ever if he was on any of the other 9 servers he would be banned from it, if i use *!*@Maow-*.atlsfl.adelphia.net (excluding the numbers) the ban is fine on all 10 servers...anyone got any idea?

Fix the network config block (mainly cloak keys) on the servers. Yeah, I messaged you this, but will also close this thread :)
