host-on-oper not working!

Post by DarkBlood »

Somehow the host-on-oper doesn't work with services admins...

This is how it's set:

hosts {
servicesadmin "thehost.address";
host-on-oper-up "yes";
};
};

can anyone tell me what the problem is? unrealircd.conf doesn't detect any errors when I rehash...

If you don't make mistakes, you aren't really trying.

One more question...

Is there a way to automaticlly set the IDENT AND host?

It would look a bit better if it was [email protected]

you know ;)

You can set them with the mIRC perform command or some scripting with /chghost and /chgident -- Like /chgident opernick services.admin

If you use anope, check out HostServ, it can change your ident as well as your host.
Why the hell can't my signature be empty?

Hmm, wait.

In the unrealircd.conf

Is there something that I can put for IRCops to automaticlly perform?

I'm thinking like the "mirc perform" but a command to make IRCops automaticlly perform when they oper..
