"Possible error" but no line given

I am getting a "Possible error encountered (IRCd seemingly not started)" error but I'm not getting any reference to lines in the config file along with it. It tells me to check the log file, which I do, but it then says there is no log file to write to. I got this after I went through and fixed all the errors. I'm confused because I seem to have done everything correctly in the config file yet it will not start. I'm running 3.2.7 and a sparc64 system with FreeBSD. I have checked it and tried to connect to it locally and remotely, I've got proper ports forwarded and no firewall blocking it. It doesn't seem to be running at all.

Are you absolutely sure there isn't any kind of other error message?
