Config option for ~ and & on modes

I hate the ~ and &. Is there a config option to not use them?

Well... yes, there is a ./Config option...

But I guess you are using windows... so no, there is no option.
Unless you compile it yourself... :P

You can compile it with them off if you so wish . The win32 has them compiled as default. Read the FAQs at
