Dunno if this should go here but if there any reason why my java applet isn't connecting? I've tried everything.

I was going to ask for error messages - but there's no point in that if it doesn't connect at all

Try using a standard IRC client to connect to your server. If it doesn't connect, something's wrong with the IRCd and you should check your logs to see what it is. If it connects OK, then your applet's settings are wrong. Also, check that you haven't accidentally added your applet to a ban version block or something like that.

There could be a thousand reasons why it doesn't connect, I mean you didn't even tell us which java chat you are using! If you want help, we need as much information as you can provide.
