hello,
i am using unreal 3.2 on a freesco system. linking to other unreal-ircd is no
problem, but linking to other servers causes problems:
*** LocOps -- Link denied (Authentication failed [Bad password?]) [@host.of.my.friend]
my linkblock is correct, also the c/N line in the other config file.
ports are open, telnet works, ssh also works. the link is "plain".
does unreal not like other servers than unrealircd linked to him/her ?
thank you in advance,

If you are asking if the other server must be an UnrealIRCd server, Unreal must link with Unreal, unless it is services, in that case the services must support Unreal.

No. Every server uses their own way of communication between servers.
